Editorial policy
Genuine Resource aims to be clear about what a piece says, what supports it and where its limits are. We correct mistakes plainly and distinguish editorial work from paid placements.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against appropriate sources before publication and write so readers can tell the difference between an established explanation, a practical suggestion and an interpretation. We avoid unsupported precision and do not present general ideas as instructions for specialist work.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for the publication's readers. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions, and paid participation does not guarantee favourable coverage.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, they can send the article title and the detail in question through the Contact page. We review correction requests and update material where warranted, making substantive changes clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears, so readers can distinguish it from editorial content. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, that is stated with the image.
